Prelude (6th Grade Beginning Orchestra)
Prelude - Beginning orchestra consists of 6th grade beginning students. Prelude orchestra is divided into class sections that meet at least 2 times per week, and is a yearlong class. This group will have a few performances throughout the year. Students will be expected to behave professionally and show proper rehearsal/concert etiquette at all times.
Intermezzo (Middle School)
Lakeview Intermezzo, or Edgewood Intermezzo
Intermezzo orchestra consists of 7th and 8th grade students at either middle school who have participated in a full year of beginning orchestra or have taken private lessons, and have successfully auditioned into the intermezzo group. This is a yearlong class. This group will perform and compete throughout the year demonstrating high quality performances and professionalism.
***Placement into a high school ensemble will be by audition only.***

Sinfonia Orchestra (High School Intermediate)
Sinfonia orchestra, or Intermediate orchestra, consists of 9th through 12th grade students, and is a yearlong class. This group will consist mainly of 9th and 10th grade students who are working to further develop and refine their skills and technique. This ensemble will be expected to perform and compete throughout the year demonstrating high quality performances and professional behavior.
